At our last meeting on January 30, 2018, we had a nice turn out at Beverly Hills Community Center. We even had a couple of Beverly Hills Civic Club members present. After welcoming our guest James began the meeting. The first topic was the city's trash pick up. After talking to the city James reported that in March, 2018, the city will pick up tree limbs. In April, 2018 the city's pick up will include heavy trash and tree limbs.

James introduced the idea he has for neighborhood cameras to keep residents safe. Cameras would be posted entering and leaving the neighborhood with police monitoring.

This is still an idea that he is looking into and has to be worked out if possible This discussion brought up a lot of neighborhood issues and ideas such as a Neighbors Patrolling using residents.

The contest that was started back in April, 2017 to hopefully encourage members' attendance to meetings. The member that attended the most meetings would be announced as winner in December 2017.The winner was announced at this meeting "Norman Coskey" won two air flight tickets to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies in 2018.

Don't forget that April is time to renew your civic club dues of $35.00 per household. Yard of the Month will be starting again soon.

ALL RVCC MEMBERS, THAT MEANS YOU!!!!!

THE RAINBOW VALLEY CIVIC CLUB WILL MEET ON MARCH 23, 7PM, AT BEVERLY HILLS COMMUNITY CENTER. SEE YOU THERE

James Gums,

RVCC President
