Hello Rainbow Valley Civic Club and all residents. Our last meeting, in April was truly a lot of fun. It was a "HOT DOG" meeting in the back yard of President James and Alva Gums. There was plenty of food and drinks, even had dessert.
There was a lot discussed and decisions made at this meeting. First we have decided to meet every other month. Our next meeting is fast approaching on Monday, June 19th. We also decided
to change the days of the meeting. We will not be meeting on Thursdays only. We will be meeting on different days at different locations. Sometimes we will meet at the Sagemont Center but mostly at local restaurants and at members homes. The meeting for June will be at Sagemont at 7pm.
I want to welcome our newest Civic club member, Mr. Lau V Tran, please take a moment to welcome him. We are very pleased to have him as a new member.
We have a new Yard of the Month sign. I think you will like it as do I. I Hope this will inspire you to want it posted in your yard. Our new sign was designed by Diamond, Jami's daughter. Diamond has always
taken an active part in the civic club and she will be graduating from high school this year. The civic club unanimously decided to present Diamond with a scholarship of $500.00 for all her work and efforts. We are very proud of you Diamond and wish nothing but the very best that life has to offer
you.
See you at the next meeting,
James Gums, President
