.We are starting a new month. August was not so good to the RV community. Tragically our President and Secretary of the RVCC lost their youngest son, a truck driver, in a awful truck accident on August 14th. James and Alva Gums are still grieving their loss. A memorial service was held on August 18th for Jamie D Parker Sr.
Then on August 30, Nick Hartnett, grandson to Robert and Lori Burton, was found deceased in his home. He was only 18 years old. Services for Nick Hartnett are set for Saturday, 09/08/2018.
Hopefully you have not lost a loved one. It is a lost you will never get over. We are asking the whole Rainbow Valley community to please remember these grieving families in your prayers.
The RVCC will meet on September 21, 2018 at Bravos Mexican Restaurant, 10906 Fuqua St.

I NEED YOUR SUPPORT.

The August 2018 Yard of the Month is at 11027 Green Arbor Drive, the home of Veronica Maldonado. Some of you have wondered out loud, "Why did she put those reflectors on her trees? To alert oncoming traffic of a head-on collision?" Nope. They help keep squirrels out of her trees. Maybe she's onto something. Since Veronica's lived here, have you ever seen her place looking anything but GREAT? Enough said. Maybe we could use a few more tree de-flectors in the neighborhood!

The 11030 Green Arbor home of Jamie Morado, her two children, and her mother Alejandra was selected July Yard of the Month. If you've been to any of the Rainbow Valley Civic Club events here, you won't soon forget Alejandra's cooking. Jamie credits her brother Omar for the recent house and yard beautification projects. Great job, Omar, and congratulations to the whole family on receiving this award!
