Good news the city will resume recycle pick ups again on November 13, 2017 for our area.

There is still no word on Heavy Trash and Tree limb pick up. That is still on hold. Remember

to bring you heavy trash back in until further notice. As soon as we know when that start up is we will notify you. Our civic club president is checking on that date weekly.

Hello, before going any further I apologize for being so long in talking with you, my Rainbow Valley Family, since the visit of Hurricane Harvey. Our neighborhood survived disaster while our surrounding communities suffered badly. Our prayers go out to them. Due to having surgery on my left shoulder and enduring a little damage from Harvey had me pre occupied.

We are trying to get it back together and update.

I spoke with 311, Kathy, regarding updates on recycle and heavy trash pick ups. So far everything is still the same. I wanted to keep you informed.

We are slowly getting back to looking like a nice neighborhood again, but there are those that still want to challenge the effort. Well, a big surprise is coming at our meeting next month in November.

This is the time of the year we take away the Yard of the Month until next year. I am very happy to know you all are using the web site. "Thank You"

Due to the terrible storm that we all endured, the city will not be picking up recycle trash. Regular garbage will be picked up on regular scheduled days. Please pay attention to this notice and pull your recycle cans back in.

The Celebration Benefit that we have been working on for Doris Perez has been postponed

also because of Hurricane Harvey. We will look forward to early next year to reschedule that

event. We will keep you posted on that date.

Secretary,

Alva Gums
