Another Christmas Season is upon us and I must admit that a lot of us because of the effect that Harvey left on us are just not in the mood. Remember all of you what Christmas is. Let us focus on the meaning of Christmas and "CELEBRATE".

We had a meeting on last month at Denny's and I am sorry to say that not many members were there. There will not be a Christmas Party this year. The few members that were present had no desire to have a party this year. So In spite of all that may be going on Harvey, illness, death of a loved one. May God Bless you and yours this Christmas season.

I am asking prayers for the sick among us., Erma Coskey, Luther and Marie Wilkerson, Barbara Hooks, Doris Perez and any one that I am not aware of.

There has been a death in our neighborhood. Jean Hagen left her family and all who love her to be with the Lord on November 30, 2017. Her funeral was held on December 3, 2017. Please let us all join in prayer for her family. A very lovely lady who will be greatly missed.

We hope to have meeting in January and I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL. The meeting place and date has not been decided yet but will be posted here in our news letter.

Our contest winner will be announced at that meeting.

Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year.

James Gums,

President

After Hurricane Harvey, and me being post surgery on my shoulder, we have fallen far behind on our meeting. Please accept my apology. It has been a very busy and painful time for me as well for you. I hope you, my neighbors did not sustain any or very little damage from Harvey.

We will be meeting on Monday, 11/27/17, at Denny's on hwy 45 at Fuqua. As usual meeting will begin at 7pm.

I really hope to see all of you at this meeting. There is so much to cover, new rules by the city and so much more.

SO SEE YOU THERE!!!!

To all my neighbors it has been brought to my attention that our recycling will not begin on the i13th as I was told. Instead our recycle pick up will begin on Thursday our regular days.

So please if you have your recycle can out for today, bring it in until Thursday. I hope the city is finally getting it right. If not I will be notifying you as soon as I know.

James Gums,

RVCC President
